Q1

How did you come to know the Lord?

Wow, yeah, how I came to know the Lord…I was lost, really lost. I can’t really take a long time—it’s a long story—but actually, I was very lost because I used to be drunk. By grace of God, I heard a message from the book of Hebrews 9:27. A man was preaching at a crusade, I was drunk, I crossed over, then I turned back—then the message convicted my heart, touched my heart, and I repented of my sin. Then I become a child of God. That was 1996.

Q2

Why did you decide to come to CAPA?

Well, my friend told me about this institution. So I said, “Yes, I will go and see it.” For the first time, I stay for four days, then I see what they preach, and I made a decision. One year later, I wanted to be trained and equipped so I can also train others. At first, I did not know more about expository preaching, but once I came to CAPA… Wow… It touched my heart. And I had to confess some of the things I was preaching.

Q3

What are some future ministry plans that you have?

Well, actually, as of now, when I see the messages of Malawi […] we need people who can train the truth—the Word of God. So I have this passion for training, [for] preaching to develop the leaders who can teach and preach and exposit the Word of God as God meant it to be. That is my great passion.

Q4

What are you looking forward to this year?

[I’m] looking forward to learning about Greek because that’s the original language of the New Testament. So I’m excited to know so I can see the original language.

Q5

What are some ways God has provided for you in your life?

Yes. The first time that I can say. With education—you know, education is very expensive, but God has helped me be able to afford my education, with myself I couldn’t afford. This institution has the subsidized amount for the school fees.

Q6

Do you have any prayer requests?

I want God to help me achieve my goal in ministry to raise up true leaders who can be trained, who can lead like the Bible says, and they can be able to also train others. If I can learn here and it only stays here, then nothing has been done.
